Job Description
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist working with K-12 students in vibrant school settings near Roxbury, MA. In this onsite role, you'll play a key part in helping students reach their fullest potential, collaborating with educators and families while delivering compassionate, evidence-based therapy. This position offers a steady 32.5-hour workweek, giving you time to build meaningful connections as you support student growth and achievement.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Massachusetts Previous experience or a strong interest in school-based physical therapy, serving K-12 populations Ability to develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to individual needs Strong communication and documentation skills for effective collaboration with staff and families Commitment to supporting diverse learners within an educational environmentPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver onsite physical therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels Evaluate students' abilities, create individualized goals, and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into the school routine Complete thorough documentation, participate in IEP meetings, and stay current with best practices Foster a positive, supportive environment that empowers students to overcome physical challengesOnsite Benefits:
