Job Description

This position has flexibility between 36 and potentially 40 hours per week due to another therapist looking to reduce hours by 4/week.
DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Evaluates, directs, plans, and provides treatments for patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
(Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
Experience:
Two years experience preferred. Entry-level acceptable.
Education and Training:
Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in area of major. Ability to comprehend and write the English language.
License, Certification & Registration:
MAPT - Current MA license to practice physical therapy CPR required
Other Requirements:
Must possess sight/hearing senses to use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.
