As a Physical Therapist, you will provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload while participating in the clinical team process. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and are looking for a rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply. Weekly pay up to $55 an hour. Up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus available!• The Oxford is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility with a large SUDS population.
Responsibilities:
Screen patients/residents Evaluate patients/residents and develop appropriate care plans Perform direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisor Provide appropriate consultation to the facility Participate in clinical program development and implementation Participate in quality improvement activities
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care Requires intense attention and concentration Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary Employment conditions apply
