Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an engaging full-time contract opportunity working with students ages 3-14 in a dynamic school environment nearby Holyoke, MA. This role runs from August 24th, 2026, through June 16th, 2027, offering a supportive setting where your expertise as a Physical Therapist will truly make an impact. You'll manage a well-balanced caseload of 7-9 students, collaborating closely with educators and families to maximize student success.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist. Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs. Capable of effective documentation and progress reporting. Proficiency working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct physical therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Assess and monitor student progress, making adjustments to therapy programs as needed. Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to integrate therapeutic recommendations into daily routines. Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs and goals. Educate staff on student strategies, adaptive equipment, and accessibility. Maintain detailed and timely documentation for compliance with school and state regulations.
