Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Empower middle school students to achieve their movement and learning goals in this rewarding contract opportunity. As a dedicated Physical Therapist, you'll work closely with students, educators, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans, supporting a positive and accessible school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current Connecticut Physical Therapist (PT) license required Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to manage a caseload and document progress efficiently Passion for making a meaningful impact on student growth and well-being
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services to middle school students based on IEP goals Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student success Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Adapt interventions to meet diverse needs within a vibrant school setting This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing a consistent and engaging work schedule while making a difference in the lives of students near Enfield, CT.
