Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dedicated school setting near Methuen, MA. As an onsite physical therapist, you'll work one day a week throughout the academic year, collaborating with educators and staff to help students reach their physical development goals. This role starts September 1, 2026, and runs through June 14, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts May need to obtain additional Massachusetts educational certifications Previous experience in school-based or pediatric PT preferred Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Commitment to patient-centered, individualized care
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver individualized treatment to students in a supportive school environment Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to develop and implement IEPs and student programs Document evaluations, progress notes, and compliance logs in accordance with school and state guidelines Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to support at-home progress Stay current on best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
