Utilize your expertise as a licensed Physical Therapist in an engaging educational contract role spanning the academic year. This opportunity offers the chance to work onsite one day per week, supporting students' physical development and well-being in a collaborative school environment. Key Qualifications:
Current Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in Massachusetts Willingness to obtain any additional educational certifications as needed Experience providing PT services in school-based settings is highly preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organization abilities Passion for working with children and contributing to their academic success
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to students based on individualized educational and developmental plans Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement treatment strategies Assess and document student progress, making recommendations for ongoing care and modifications Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and educational requirements Participate in IEP meetings as a key member of the multidisciplinary team, sharing professional insights This contract position provides a meaningful way to impact students daily lives, while maintaining a flexible schedule of just one day a week onsite.
