Job Description
Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives as a Physical Therapist supporting school-based programming near Peabody, MA. This contract role is onsite, offering a consistent, supportive environment to put your expertise to work—impacting one day per week through the end of the 2025-2026 school year. Your clinical insight and passion for helping children succeed can thrive in this educational setting. You'll work collaboratively with educators and other specialists to foster positive outcomes for students requiring physical therapy services.
What We Seek:
Current and valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) license is required Willingness to secure additional Massachusetts educational certifications, if necessary Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred Adaptable approach and strong communication with students, staff, and guardians Must be comfortable working onsite and independently managing a varied caseloadKey Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs) and school team recommendations Assess and document student progress, developing intervention strategies aligned with educational objectives Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and family members to maximize student participation and independence in school activities Provide input and recommendations in multidisciplinary meetings Maintain compliance with all state and district protocols and documentation requirements What's inStore:
