Position Overview We are excited to announce a career opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our outpatient practice located in Germantown, Maryland. This role is pivotal in assisting patients on their journey toward recovery and improved physical function. As a Physical Therapist, you will be instrumental in promoting the highest quality of life for your patients, guiding them through the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation processes. About the Organization The Spine and Joint Rehab Center is a well-respected physical therapy practice owned and operated by licensed professionals. Our facility features a state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet sports medicine area equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology. We take pride in our personalized approach to treatment, mainly serving patients with private medical insurance to ensure they receive the most effective care possible. Our team includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Work Environment The work setting for this position is onsite at our outpatient clinic, where you will interact one-on-one with patients in a collaborative team environment. The office operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while serving the community. Key Responsibilities Identify and address patients' individual goals and needs effectively upon initial consultation. Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring focused, quality care. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to craft comprehensive and personalized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based practices and state-of-the-art techniques to facilitate patient recovery. Incorporate various treatment techniques to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility. Reduce dependence on medications through holistic rehabilitation strategies, while exploring alternatives to surgical intervention. Design tailored fitness and wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Document all patient care services delivered accurately and maintain clear lines of communication with patients and team members. Motivate patients throughout the recovery process, celebrating their progress and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting care plans as needed to optimize results. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and conditions. You will work closely with diverse groups, from active athletes to senior citizens, each requiring personalized care tailored to their specific needs. Our commitment to understand and achieve personal milestones for each patient fosters an environment where individuals can thrive and regain their independence. Qualifications Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Possesses a valid Maryland license to practice as a Physical Therapist. Maintains a professional record clear of any board or disciplinary actions. Demonstrates strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols. Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is a plus. Preferred Experience Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable. Proven track record in developing effective treatment plans and implementing therapeutic measures. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from
USD 90,000
to 100,000 annually, complemented by full benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, continues education stipend, and paid time off.
