Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our specialized team at Flex Spine Action Healthcare Center. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their history, physical condition, and functional capabilities to create tailored rehabilitation plans. Implement a variety of treatment modalities, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation, depending on the patient's needs. Develop and modify treatment protocols in close coordination with other healthcare providers, ensuring progress is made toward rehabilitation goals. Maintain meticulous documentation for all patient encounters, encompassing evaluations, treatment interventions, and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Adhere to productivity metrics and maintain a punctual schedule while actively participating in both internal training and community outreach initiatives. Engage in continuing education opportunities to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy and fulfill a role as a clinical instructor as needed. Enhance patient experience by proactively addressing any barriers to care, fostering an inclusive environment that prioritizes accessibility. Patient Population / Client Focus Our diverse patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-traumatic rehabilitation. You will work closely with patients of all ages, providing compassionate care that is sensitive to their unique physical and emotional needs. Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Active state licensure for Maryland relevant to the practice of Physical Therapy. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, fostering positive interactions with patients and colleagues alike.
