Functional Kids Therapy Center is a multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy practice dedicated to empowering children and their families through occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, counseling, and other supportive services. Position Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Part-Time Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. This role involves providing individualized physical therapy services to children with a variety of developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. The PT will work across both our Schoolcraft and Battle Creek locations, collaborating closely with families, caregivers, and other team members to help each child reach their fullest potential. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide direct physical therapy services in both one-on-one and group settings. Educate and empower families with home programs and caregiver strategies. Collaborate with other disciplines, including OT, SLP, and counseling, to provide integrated care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and insurance guidelines. Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and professional development activities. Travel between the Caledonia and Battle Creek locations as scheduled.

Qualifications Required:

Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current Michigan PT license in good standing. Strong pediatric experience, including developmental milestones and neurodevelopmental treatment approaches. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Preferred:

Experience in outpatient pediatric settings. Knowledge of sensory integration, orthotic recommendations, and adaptive equipment. Familiarity with insurance and documentation requirements for pediatric clients. Work Schedule & Compensation Part-time position: approximately 10-25 hours per week , with flexibility based on client needs and therapist availability. Travel between locations required (Schoolcraft and Battle Creek). Competitive hourly pay, commensurate with experience. Opportunity for growth within a supportive, collaborative team environment.
