You will work with a diverse outpatient caseload, receive one hour with each patient , and have the clinical freedom to develop treatment plans based on what each person actually needs. We are actively hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Michigan City, Indiana . Time to Grow Into the Position We are hiring because the clinic is growing, but you will not be expected to immediately manage a full schedule. What Your Schedule Could Look Like Monday and Wednesday:
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch
Tuesday and Thursday:
8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch
Friday:
8:00 AM to 2:00 PM No Weekends No On-Call Responsibilities What You Will Do Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations Develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care Provide skilled treatment for orthopedic, post-operative, sports, neurologic, vestibular, and balance conditions Use manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, patient education, and other appropriate interventions Progress treatment plans based on objective findings and patient response Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, wellness, and injury prevention Complete accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the EMR Monitor patient progress and communicate significant changes or recommendations to referring providers Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals Supervise and appropriately delegate to Physical Therapist Assistants and rehabilitation technicians Maintain appropriate productivity while preserving individualized, high-quality care Create a positive and encouraging environment that supports patient satisfaction and long-term success Participate in community outreach, physician relationship development, or marketing events as desired Maintain current licensure and complete required continuing education What We Are Looking For Licensed Physical Therapist or eligible for Physical Therapy licensure in Indiana Doctor of Physical Therapy degree or equivalent accredited Physical Therapy education Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to exceptional patient outcomes Self-motivated and team-oriented approach Ability to provide individualized care in a collaborative outpatient environment Interest in developing orthopedic manual therapy and exercise progression skills Experience or interest in manual therapy, dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, sports medicine, or specialty certifications is a plus but not required.
