Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Brighton, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care across various settings. This outpatient position focuses on pediatric and adult care, including neurodevelopmental therapy, with opportunities to incorporate orthopedic care based on clinic caseload. Full-time permanent outpatient position. In this setting, you will work 1:1 with patients. Some travel is involved as Empowerize Therapy Center partners with a local ABA therapy center to bring
PT, OT, ST
to their pediatric clients with ASD. Full-time or PRN candidates are welcome to apply. Your expertise in physical therapy and strong communication skills will ensure patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of diverse patient populations, including geriatric, pediatric, neurological, orthopedic, and post-surgical cases. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including mobility limitations, pain levels, and functional impairments Develop and implement effective treatment plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and therapeutic exercises Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and discharge planning Manage clinical documentation standards by accurately recording patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes within electronic health records (EHR) systems Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and home care strategies to promote recovery and independence Assist in discharge planning by evaluating patient needs for ongoing therapy or community support services Work with diverse patient populations across outpatient clinics and community care settings Qualifications Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology Experience with outpatient rehabilitation centers or pediatric environments preferred Proficiency in clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems) management Ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs across various age groups and conditions Excellent client communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams Familiarity with discharge planning processes and working with geriatric patients or those requiring home & community care services Join us in delivering exceptional physical therapy services that empower patients on their journey toward recovery. $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
