Qualifications:
Current, valid Physical Therapist license Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Previous experience in a hospital or similar acute care setting preferred Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with interprofessional teams Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Assess patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to restore function, improve mobility, and alleviate pain Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with medical staff Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to continue therapy outside of sessions Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to discharge planning Ensure compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory guidelines This is a contract position designed for a skilled therapist who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment.
