What You'll Do:
Evaluate patients' needs, strengths, and rehabilitation potential across all age groups Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and physician orders Document patient progress and treatment details accurately in medical records Supervise and delegate tasks to PTAs and support staff, ensuring quality care Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Teach and mentor students or new staff as needed Promote safety and use evidence-based modalities and techniques appropriate for each patient Provide community education, in-services, or lectures related to physical therapy
What You Need:
Valid state license to practice physical therapy Sufficient clinical experience in inpatient acute care Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, modalities, and safety protocols Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic health records and basic office technology Physical ability to perform required job functions, including lifting up to 20 lbs and assisting in patient mobility About the
