Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a dedicated Physical Therapist supporting students across several welcoming communities. Engage in meaningful therapeutic interventions, evaluation, and ongoing documentation to help children and youth reach their highest potential in educational environments. As a full-time PT, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing your expertise across Climax-Scotts, Comstock, Parchment, Gull Lake, and Galesburg-Augusta. Key Qualifications & Experience Valid Physical Therapist license in the state Experience with school-based physical therapy services preferred Strong evaluation and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Enthusiasm for supporting diverse student needs and goals Strong organizational and communication abilities Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students across multiple school sites Deliver direct and consultative PT services in accordance with IEP goals Complete timely and thorough service notes, maintaining accurate records for each student Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to develop and monitor individualized treatment plans Help students improve physical function, mobility, and access to school activities Travel between schools in the assigned region as needed throughout the week Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program development Benefits & Perks Consistent, full-time hours (35-40 per week) for the duration of the contract Supportive, multidisciplinary team culture focused on student success Opportunities for professional development and skill growth Make a positive, lasting difference in the lives of students within a close-knit set of communities If you're an PT eager to make a meaningful impact in school settings, this opportunity awaits your expertise.
