Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel An opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist experienced in hospital-based therapy. This contract position is suited for someone committed to providing high-quality rehabilitation services and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve the best patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Physical Therapist license Previous experience working in a hospital setting required Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy assessments, planning, and intervention techniques Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when working with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle diverse caseloads
Responsibilities:
Complete thorough patient evaluations to establish personalized treatment goals and plans Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to assist patients in recovery, mobility improvement, and pain reduction Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans, and document outcomes effectively Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate patient care Provide patient and family education regarding therapy regimens, home exercises, and safety strategies Uphold all facility, state, and regulatory standards related to patient safety and confidentiality
