Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Take your expertise in physical therapy to the next level by supporting students during a full-time leave coverage opportunity from December through the end of February. This contract role focuses on providing essential physical therapy services within a school environment, making a direct and meaningful impact on students' ability to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
What You'll Bring:
Active Physical Therapist license in Michigan Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings Strong ability to collaborate with education teams, families, and other therapists Excellent communication and documentation skills Compassion and adaptability when working with diverse student populations
Your Day-to-Day:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs and school goals Track progress, maintain up-to-date records, and participate in IEP meetings Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines Educate families on exercises and accommodations to promote student independence Maintain compliance with all relevant federal, state, and school regulations
