Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact in the educational setting as a Physical Therapist working with students in a supportive, dynamic school environment. This contract role allows you to bring your expertise in pediatric physical therapy to help students achieve their fullest potential. Collaborate with dedicated educators and families, and contribute to fostering an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere.
Ideal Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Previous experience providing PT services in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Collaborative spirit for working alongside teachers, staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students Deliver direct and consultative PT services to help students access and progress in their educational environment Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute thoughtful recommendations for student success Provide staff training and support on mobility, positioning, and accessibility accommodations as needed Adapt therapy activities to fit a variety of student needs and learning styles In addition to a meaningful, hands-on role helping students thrive, you'll enjoy the variety that comes with a contract position—perfect for professionals who value flexibility and new experiences.
