Responsibilities Therapists are responsible for the application of current knowledge, theory, evidence and sound clinical judgment in patient management. The therapist works closely with the patient, family and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized patient care. Therapists also serve as advocates and promoters of health, wellness, and fitness to all stakeholders. They serve as educators and mentors for therapy students, peers and other medical professionals. The physical therapist assists with department and program planning. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota as a Physical Therapist. Demonstrated skills in the areas of organization, communication, interpersonal relations, leadership, decision making and problem solving. Prefer board certification in clinical specialty area and/or advanced degree in health care field. Also prefer active participation within professional organization. Current physical therapy licensure in the state of Minnesota. Exemption Status Exempt Compensation Detail $85,467.20 - $128,252.80 / year Benefits Eligible Yes Schedule Full Time Hours/Pay Period 80 Schedule Details Monday - Friday in acute care hospital with 25% in wound care practice (inpatient and outpatient). Weekend Schedule one in four weekends with one day (Saturday) in wound care and one day in general acute care practice with compensatory days off around the weekend.
