Position Overview Leg Work Rehab Group is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Joplin, Missouri. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping patients manage a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create tailored rehabilitation plans that enhance physical function, alleviate pain, and promote recovery. Work Environment The rehabilitation center operates during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are an onsite facility, allowing for close collaboration among healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists. The clinic is designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere conducive to healing and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities, including range of motion, strength, and functional limitations. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of patients, focusing on enhancing mobility and minimizing pain. Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to support recovery. Utilize various modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy appropriately to enhance treatment efficacy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and support staff, to optimize patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, effective home exercise programs, and lifestyle changes to promote long-term health. Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with clinic standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus We serve a diverse patient population, comprising individuals with acute injuries, chronic pain conditions, post-surgical recovery needs, and developmental challenges. Our therapists are skilled at addressing a range of orthopedic issues, helping patients regain functionality and improve their quality of life. As part of our commitment to patient-centered care, we actively involve patients and their families in rehabilitation planning and decision-making processes. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Missouri. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, although new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and functional movement assessments. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships, educate patients, and work effectively as part of a team. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized orthopedic rehabilitation or who hold certifications in advanced therapeutic techniques will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and patient management tools is also advantageous. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
