Starting Wage:
$40.52+/hour (based on experience and internal equity) Help Patients Move Forward Glendive Medical Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. This position offers the opportunity to work with patients across a variety of diagnoses and age groups while helping them improve mobility, restore function, and achieve their recovery goals. As part of our rehabilitation team, you'll work closely with providers, therapists, and support staff to deliver personalized, evidence-based care in a community-focused healthcare setting. What You'll Do Evaluate patients and establish individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional mobility and independence Monitor patient progress and modify treatment strategies as needed Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and home programs Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records Communicate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care Support positive patient outcomes through compassionate, goal-oriented treatment Qualifications Required Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy Current Montana Physical Therapist license Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Previous experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rural healthcare settings Experience treating a diverse patient population Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching Ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility activities Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 75 pounds as needed Ability to perform the physical demands associated with direct patient care Benefits Eligible after 59 days: Medical, Dental, Vision Healthcare Spending Accounts Employer-paid Life & Disability Eligible after 30 days: 401(k) with employer match Paid Time Off and Extended Illness Leave Paid float holidays Why Join Glendive Medical Center?
