Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity focused on making a difference in the lives of K-12 students. This contract role begins August 5th and runs through May 28th, supporting a small caseload of seven students—allowing you to truly focus on individualized care and relationship building. You'll work on-site, collaborating with dedicated educators and shaping positive outcomes in a school community that values your expertise.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina Demonstrated experience or special interest in pediatric or school-based physical therapy Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to different grade levels and student needs Comfort working in a multidisciplinary team environment
Your Role Will Include:
Delivering physical therapy services in-person to a caseload of seven students across K-12 grades Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to each student's abilities and educational goals Collaborating with teachers, other therapists, and support staff to foster student success Documenting progress, maintaining compliance standards, and communicating updates effectively with families and colleagues Providing training or support to staff on mobility techniques and strategies as needed
