Job Description

Actively hiring a Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year in Forest City, NC. This is a full-time, onsite position working with a K-12 caseload based on district needs. New grads and travelers are both encouraged to apply.
Position Details:
Full-time (30-37.5 hours per week) 2026-2027 school year K-12 caseload (placement based on experience) Onsite role
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services aligned with student IEPs or 504 plans Conduct assessments of gross motor skills, functional mobility, balance, strength, and postural control Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote inclusive participation and support classroom goals Design, implement, and modify individualized therapy interventions, including recommendations for adaptive equipment and assistive devices Document all services, maintain records, monitor progress, and actively engage in IEP/504 meetings and school-based initiatives
Requirements:
Master's degree in Physical Therapy Active North Carolina PT license•Or willingness to obtain before school year
Compensation and Benefits:
