Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. Your expertise will contribute to a comprehensive care approach, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals across various settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert physiotherapy interventions and patient-centered care. Duties Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine physical therapy needs, including assessments of physiology, anatomy, and medical history. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clinical standards and patient goals. Deliver hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to clinical documentation standards. Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, home exercises, and community resources to support ongoing recovery and independence. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and related medical terminology. Experience with discharge planning, care plan development, and working with diverse populations including geriatric patients and pediatric clients. Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation center operations and inpatient hospital workflows. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) management systems such as EMR platforms; experience with outpatient experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Knowledge of physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and treatment for musculoskeletal or neurological conditions.
