Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract role as a Physical Therapist working on-site in a supportive educational environment near Lexington, NC. This full-time opportunity runs from August 17, 2026 through June 4, 2027, allowing you to make a significant impact on student well-being and growth. Your clinical expertise will help students overcome barriers to learning and maximize their physical potential, collaborating closely with educators and a range of support professionals.
Qualifications:
Active North Carolina Physical Therapy License (must be confirmed before placement) Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred Ability to deliver all services on-site Familiarity with ECATS and Infinite Campus systems is a plus Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP requirements Assess and document student progress, developing and updating individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs Maintain accurate and timely records using ECATS and Infinite Campus Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding strategies, accommodations, and progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
