Position Type:
Independent Contractor (1099) Make a Meaningful Difference - One Child at a Time We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to provide individualized, in-home physical therapy services to a child with autism in Monroe, NC 28110 . This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys working with children and families and is looking for a small, flexible caseload . You will work with one pediatric client for one /two hour per week , allowing you to provide focused, individualized care and build a meaningful relationship with the child and family.

In-home therapy in Monroe, NC 28110 Flexible opportunity for a PT looking for supplemental work Individualized, family-centered care Opportunity to work collaboratively with other professionals involved in the child's care Responsibilities The Physical Therapist will: Provide individualized physical therapy services appropriate to the child's needs. Assess and address functional mobility, gross motor skills, balance, coordination, strength, and other areas within the PT's professional scope. Develop and implement appropriate therapeutic activities and treatment strategies. Provide engaging, child-friendly therapy that encourages participation. Monitor the child's progress and make appropriate clinical recommendations. Communicate with parents/caregivers regarding the child's progress and home-support strategies. Maintain appropriate clinical documentation for services provided. Collaborate professionally with the child's family and other members of the care team when appropriate. Qualifications Current and unrestricted North Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license . Experience working with pediatric clients preferred. Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working in a family home environment. Reliable and professional. Able to provide services independently within the therapist's professional scope of practice. Compensation & Schedule $65 to $70 per completed 1-hour treatment session. This position may be especially well suited for a PT who: Already works full-time and wants a small additional opportunity.
