Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to empower students by providing impactful physical therapy services in a supportive educational environment. This contract position is perfect for a skilled professional passionate about enhancing the academic and functional success of students from kindergarten through high school. Working part-time from August 5 through May 28, you'll collaborate closely with dedicated educators and families to help each student achieve their fullest potential.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Physical Therapist license with experience or strong interest in school-based settings Expertise in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans Comfortable working with children and adolescents in K-12 Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner with teachers and families Ability to adapt interventions for diverse learning and physical needs Commitment to in-person service delivery, as required by the school
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality PT services to a caseload of approximately 7 students (caseload specifics shared at interview) Assess motor skills and develop goal-oriented plans tailored to each student's needs Work collaboratively with educators, other therapists, and parents to support IEP goals Document student progress, participate in team meetings, and help coordinate transitions across grade levels Provide guidance and resources to support inclusive educational experiences
