Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as an on-site Physical Therapist supporting students in a dynamic school-based environment. This full-time contract position spans the 2026-2027 academic year and offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' development and well-being. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs designed to foster student independence and participation. What we're looking for: Current, active Physical Therapy license in North Carolina (required for consideration) Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting is highly valued Proven ability to deliver therapy exclusively on-site Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork Familiarity with ECATS and Infinite Campus systems beneficial Passion for supporting students' academic and functional growth Key responsibilities: Evaluate and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals for students with physical or developmental needs Implement direct and consultative therapy services within school environments Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure integrated care Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reporting in ECATS and Infinite Campus Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, providing expertise on physical development and motor skills Adapt therapy activities and materials to facilitate student success in the classroom By choosing a school-based PT position, you'll be part of a fulfilling journey that truly changes lives.
