Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract Physical therapists looking to enhance their expertise in a dynamic hospital environment will thrive in this contract opportunity. This role will largely focus on providing therapy services to patients within an acute care setting, supporting recovery, functional improvement, and quality of life for individuals with diverse therapeutic needs.
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling may be required based on patient care needs and hospital workflow.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid, current Physical Therapist license Demonstrated experience in a hospital or acute care environment is highly preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment planning abilities Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and establish comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs Deliver therapeutic interventions and utilize advanced equipment as appropriate Monitor, document, and report on patient progress and response to therapy Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care Provide patient and caregiver education regarding therapy goals, rehabilitation, and safety Participate in team meetings, quality initiatives, and continuing education to maintain and enhance clinical skills
