School Physical Therapist | Wilmington, North Carolina Soliant - 3.9 Wilmington, NC Job Details Full-time | Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Physical Therapy License Physical therapy Full Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position for a Physical Therapist is available to provide specialized therapy services within multiple school settings in Wilmington, NC. This role involves delivering care primarily at a Developmental Day Center with additional responsibilities at six other schools, typically visiting 1-2 locations per day. The assignment runs from April 20 through June 9, concluding shortly after the end of the school year to allow completion of documentation and meetings.
Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy evaluations and interventions to students ranging from preschool age through high school. Manage a caseload of fewer than 50 students, tailoring therapy plans to individual developmental needs. Travel daily between 7 school locations, ensuring efficient use of time with the majority focused at the Developmental Day Center. Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress. Complete all required documentation and participate in meetings related to student care.Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric and school-based therapy services. Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload across multiple locations. Strong organizational skills to maintain thorough records and meet documentation deadlines. Comfortable working with diverse student populations from preschool to high school.Schedule and Location:
This position requires 35-40 hours per week. The role involves traveling between seven schools in Wilmington, NC, with the primary setting being a Developmental Day Center.
