Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic settings, including outpatient, acute care, and pediatrics. This role involves working closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote recovery and enhance mobility. The Physical Therapist will utilize their knowledge of physiology and medical terminology to assess patient needs and implement effective rehabilitation strategies. Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and overall function. Educate patients and their families on exercises, care plans, and strategies for managing conditions effectively. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist. Experience in an outpatient clinic is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and discharge planning processes. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
