This flexible PRN opportunity is ideal for a PT who enjoys working in schools and values individualized care. You'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their physical and academic goals.
Key Qualifications:
Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Jersey Prior experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, families, and educational staff Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Detail-oriented with solid documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual physical therapy sessions with assigned students two times a month, 30 minutes per session Assess students' physical abilities and develop targeted intervention plans Collaborate with educators and support staff to align therapy with students' IEPs and academic needs Maintain clear and accurate records of sessions, progress, and outcomes Adjust interventions as needed to encourage ongoing progress and participation
