Physical Therapist HWP Business Consulting Services East Orange, NJ Job Details Part-time | Contract $250 - $350 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications School experience Spanish Physical Therapy English Technical report writing Physical Therapy License Motor function examinations Full Job Description Part-Time / Independent Contractor Physical Therapist (PT Evaluator) Jersey City, NJ | School-Based Evaluations | Flexible Schedule HealthWorksPros (HWP) is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to conduct school-based physical therapy evaluations and provide consultation services for students receiving accommodations through Section 504 and related educational programs. Position Overview The Physical Therapist Evaluator will assess students' physical functioning, mobility, gross motor development, and access needs within educational settings. The evaluator will prepare written reports and provide recommendations to support student participation and success in school environments. Responsibilities Conduct physical therapy evaluations for students ages 2.5-21 Assess mobility, motor skills, positioning, accessibility, and functional participation Perform school-based observations and assessments Review educational, medical, and therapy records Prepare detailed written evaluation reports Participate in Section 504 meetings and multidisciplinary consultations Provide recommendations regarding accommodations and supports Maintain accurate documentation and records Travel to assigned school locations as needed Minimum Qualifications Current New Jersey Physical Therapist License Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Experience conducting pediatric or school-based evaluations preferred Excellent written communication and report-writing skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Preferred Qualifications School-based PT experience Section 504 evaluation experience Pediatric rehabilitation experience Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred Compensation Competitive per-evaluation compensation ($250 - $350) Flexible scheduling Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity Part-time hours based on assignment volume About HealthWorksPros (HWP) HealthWorksPros is a New Jersey-based healthcare organization providing clinical, behavioral health, occupational medicine, school health, and population health services throughout the region.
