Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Agile Strength Rehabilitation Center, you will: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition and understand their unique symptoms. Diagnose movement dysfunctions and create personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's recovery goals. Educate patients on the proper application of therapeutic exercise techniques to promote healing and mobility. Utilize methods such as stimulation or massage to facilitate recovery and alleviate pain. Guide patients in using assistive devices like wheelchairs or walkers effectively to enhance their mobility during recovery. Document and maintain detailed patient records, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Provide insights and recommendations to patients and their families regarding in-home treatment options and exercises that can support continued progress. Patient Population / Client Focus Our facility serves a diverse demographic, treating patients with a broad spectrum of conditions ranging from post-operative recovery and sports injuries to chronic pain management and neurological impairments. This variability allows our therapists to apply a wide range of techniques and modalities tailored to each individual's therapeutic journey, fostering both personal and professional growth. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications: An accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including word processing and electronic health record management. A proactive, flexible approach to both patient care and team collaboration. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have: Two or more years of experience in a physical therapy setting. A track record of successfully managing a variety of patient cases, demonstrating adaptability and effective problem-solving skills. Experience with evidence-based practices in rehabilitation.
