Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist dedicated to supporting K-12 students throughout an entire district for the school year. This full-time role offers a dynamic environment spanning multiple schools, where your expertise will help students reach their fullest potential. The assignment runs from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027, with daily hours from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, totaling 35 hours each week.
Qualifications:
Hold an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey Experience in school-based physical therapy, preferably with K-12 students Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district Completion or willingness to obtain New Jersey's required pre-employment clearances, including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for both the agency and the school district Comfortable participating in interviews via Zoom Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services to students across grade levels and school campuses Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans to support student goals Monitor and document student progress with clear, detailed records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student development Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student access and success Deliver therapy sessions in accordance with district and state requirements This position places you at the heart of a vibrant school community, allowing you to make a tangible impact.
