Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving the quality of life for diverse patient populations. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to work across various settings, including inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, and rehabilitation centers. You will utilize your expertise in physiotherapy to develop personalized treatment plans, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and deliver exceptional patient care that makes a real difference. Duties Assess patients' physical conditions by evaluating their mobility, strength, and functional limitations using comprehensive physiotherapy techniques. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and medical history. Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to promote recovery and pain relief. Coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless transition of care by collaborating with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with medical terminology standards and electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems). Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies to optimize outcomes. Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, injury prevention, and home care strategies to support ongoing recovery. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and community care practices. Proven experience working with geriatric patients in outpatient rehabilitation centers or home health settings. Familiarity with inpatient hospital environments and acute care experience to manage complex cases effectively. Expertise in care plan development, clinical documentation standards, and adherence to healthcare regulations. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans. Excellent client communication skills to motivate patients and ensure understanding of therapy goals. Proficiency in outpatient clinic operations, outpatient rehabilitation center experience, and hospital-based physiotherapy practices.
