School-Based Physical Therapist - Orange, New Jersey BlazerJobs - 3.4 Orange, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $52.18 - $72.18 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Physical Therapy License Video conferences (communication methods) Full Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic role supporting students throughout a district-wide setting for the upcoming academic year. Work with learners from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing expert physical therapy services across multiple schools. This contract opportunity is full-time, offering 35 hours per week from 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM, starting September 4, 2026 and running through June 25, 2027. Qualifications & Experience:
Valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license required Experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting strongly preferred Ability to work with diverse K-12 populations across multiple school buildings Must be able to satisfy all New Jersey onboarding requirements: TB test Physical exam Completion of fingerprinting for both agency and school district Comfortable interviewing via
Zoom Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Demonstrate flexibility traveling between district schools as assigned Conduct evaluations and develop targeted intervention plans Collaborate closely with teachers, school support staff, and families Document student progress and communicate findings to the IEP team Help facilitate equipment needs and environmental adaptations for student success Imagine yourself making a tangible difference district-wide, supporting students of all grade levels as they advance in their educational goals.
