Job Description

Atlantic Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our team in the inpatient unit at Chilton Medical Center. This position will have varying shifts, from 7:30a to 3:30p and two weekend days per month in addition to weekday coverage, as needed.   • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and fellow rehab team members
  • Communicate with patients and families to ensure understanding and continuity of care
  • Support various appointment types and adapt care plans as needed
Principal Accountabilities:
Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation. Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision. Requirements 1. New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy. 2. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program Preferred 1. 2-5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist and Experience in Acute Care
