Smile Therapy for Kids New Jersey 1099 Independent Contractor $75/hour (direct patient care) Training Begins July 2026 About Us Smile Therapy for Kids New Jersey was created from a mother's determination to bring life-changing therapy closer to home. After watching her son, Salvatore, make incredible gains through Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), founder Nicole Galati made it her mission to bring this specialized therapy to children throughout New Jersey. Partnering with DMI Co-Founder Jo-Anne Weltman and an experienced team of mentors, Smile Therapy for Kids NJ is committed to helping children with neurological and developmental disabilities reach their fullest potential through intensive, evidence-based intervention. We are seeking passionate pediatric therapists who want more than just a job—we are looking for therapists who want to become leaders in DMI therapy and make a lasting impact on children's lives. Position Overview We are looking for experienced Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists with at least 2 years of pediatric experience who are eager to train in and master Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI). This position is ideal for therapists who are passionate about neurological rehabilitation, lifelong learning, and helping children achieve meaningful functional gains. Training will begin in July 2026, and selected candidates will be expected to commit fully to developing their DMI skill set and becoming an integral part of our growing team. Compensation $75/hour for direct patient care 1099 Independent Contractor position Flexible scheduling Therapists are compensated while providing hands-on treatment No requirement to be onsite when children are not scheduled Opportunity for professional growth and advanced DMI training What We're Looking For Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience Passion for working with children with neurological and developmental disabilities Strong communication and family-centered care skills Growth mindset and willingness to learn advanced therapeutic techniques Commitment to becoming highly skilled in DMI therapy Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Preferred Experience Cerebral Palsy Developmental delays Neurological diagnoses Intensive therapy models Adaptive equipment and mobility interventions Required Cover Letter To be considered, applicants must submit a cover letter answering the following questions: Why are you interested in learning and mastering Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI)?
