Job Description
Wantage Physical Rehabilitation is privately owned physical therapy practice -located in Sussex around Kittatinny mountain ranges. Its a scenic place with a warm community around. We provide individualized, evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our practice established 20 years ago has been serving our local community with a very personal, patient centered approach. Our practice has grown from referrals and word of mouth and relationship within the community, which we are very proud of. Because we have grown organically, we place a lot of importance on building a strong team that share our values-providing excellent patient care, treating patients like family and creating a supportive environment for our staff. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or experienced clinician who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and providing hands-on, individualized care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide skilled physical therapy interventions based on patient needs and established goals. Deliver therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and other appropriate treatment techniques. Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and strategies for maintaining long-term results. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Provide a positive, professional, and welcoming patient experience. Participate in a collaborative team environment and contribute to the continued growth of the practice. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Current or eligible New Jersey Physical Therapist license. Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills. Passion for patient care and helping people achieve meaningful functional outcomes. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
