Position Overview Precious Hands Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team in the vibrant community of Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of new residents to evaluate their physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet the specific goals of each resident, using the latest evidence-based modalities. Provide hands-on therapy sessions, employing manual therapy techniques and tailored exercise protocols to enhance mobility and functional independence. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress through the facility's electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Regularly consult with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff, to adjust treatment plans as necessary based on residents' progress and feedback. Educate residents and their families about rehabilitation strategies, injury prevention, and wellness to facilitate long-term health management. Stay abreast of new trends and research in physical therapy practices by participating in relevant training and conferences. Patient Population / Client Focus At Precious Hands Physical Therapy, our diverse patient population includes older adults recovering from surgeries, neurological conditions, and other physical challenges. Your role as a Physical Therapist will be vital in assessing their unique needs and providing tailored rehabilitation interventions. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred. Current and valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of New Jersey. A strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and proven experience in developing effective exercise protocols. Proficient in using electronic medical record systems, particularly familiarity with WebPT, is an advantage. Exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for encouraging patient progress. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or assisted living environment. Experience in treating diverse populations, including those with neurological disorders and post-operative rehabilitation. A track record of creating positive relationships with patients and their families to facilitate effective communication and care continuity. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, between
USD 90,000
to 100,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
