As a Physical Therapist at Centra, you will work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and support staff, to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to maximize recovery outcomes. Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on individual responses and goals. Implement safe and effective interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and overall mobility. Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. Educate patients and their families on suitable self-management strategies and preventive care practices. Stay informed on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices by attending workshops and participating in professional networking opportunities. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and conditions related to chronic pain. You will work with a diverse demographic, including children, adults, and seniors, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care that acknowledges their unique needs and conditions. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients and the healthcare team. Proficiency in basic computer applications and electronic health record systems. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for patient care. Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to adapt treatment plans as necessary. Preferred Experience At least two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, though new graduates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply. Experience working with specialized populations, such as pediatrics or geriatrics, is a plus. A background in home health care is beneficial but not mandatory. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
