Qualifications:
Hold an active New Mexico state (NMRLD) license by the start date Obtain NMPED credentials (may be pending at commencement) Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering student success in a supportive environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized care plans for students Deliver therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Document progress in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall well-being of students Adjust caseload and age group preferences as discussed and mutually agreed upon during the interview process
