What You'll Do:
Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of inpatients and outpatients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with patient/family participation Document all patient care activities accurately, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries Participate in patient care conferences, family meetings, and departmental training Counsel patients and families regarding evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning Supervise Physical Therapy student programs, Assistants, and Volunteers Support clinical department activities including orientation and scheduling Support performance improvement initiatives and departmental efficiency Maintain awareness of community resources and provide patient education Collaborate professionally with medical staff, physicians, and referral sources
What You Need:
Current NM Physical Therapist licensure BLS certification via AHA Entry-level Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Ability to adapt care to meet diverse patient needs Strong communication and teamwork skills About the
