Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care across various settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and home health environments. Your expertise in physiotherapy and physiology will be essential in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey and ensuring optimal recovery outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical therapy needs, including assessments of musculoskeletal, neurological, and geriatric conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate patient care and discharge planning. Manage clinical documentation standards accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with medical terminology and healthcare regulations. Facilitate patient rehabilitation sessions focusing on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence in outpatient or inpatient settings. Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, home exercises, safety measures, and community resources to support ongoing recovery. Participate in outpatient rehabilitation center activities including treatment plan development, progress monitoring, and outcome evaluation for diverse patient populations. Qualifications Valid license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in the respective jurisdiction. Proven experience in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments with a focus on patient care. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards relevant to physiotherapy practice. Experience working with geriatric patients, pediatrics, neurology cases, orthopedics, and outpatient rehabilitation programs. Skilled in discharge planning, treatment plan development, and working with electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems). Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on their care plans. Pay:
$47.27 - $65.00 per hour
