Position Overview Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice in beautiful Beatty, Nevada. In this pivotal role, you will partner with patients on their rehabilitation journey, focusing on restoring motion and enhancing overall functionality. Your expertise will play a crucial role in promoting a healthier lifestyle and improving the quality of life for our clients. About the Organization At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalized care within a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to providing effective interventions and evidence-based treatments. We primarily accept private medical insurance, ensuring our patients have access to the best possible care. Work Environment This position is based onsite at our dynamic rehabilitation center located in Beatty, Nevada. The facility is designed to foster a supportive atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and motivated in their recovery journey. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify and personalize care plans for patients, ensuring their specific goals and needs are met. Manage a caseload by seeing 2-3 patients per hour, delivering competent, individualized treatment to promote mobility and function. Implement cost-effective treatment methodologies that optimize patient progress and reduce reliance on medications or surgical interventions. Develop and execute tailored fitness and wellness programs to address the unique requirements of each patient. Motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation process, encouraging determination and a proactive approach to their treatment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, enhancing recovery outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services, assessments, and treatment plans using EMR software such as WebPT. Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment protocols as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative care and sports injuries. Your expertise will be vital in developing rehabilitation pathways that empower patients to regain their independence and improve their physical capabilities. Qualifications A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required. Must possess a valid Nevada Physical Therapist license without any board actions or disciplinary actions. Strong manual therapy skills and a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic exercises are essential. Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment plans. Preferred Experience At least 2 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a thorough understanding of rehabilitation techniques and client interactions.
