Step by Step Physical Therapy - Akron, NY Full-Time | 12-Week Contract | Competitive Compensation AUGUST 6th - OCTOBER 29th Step by Step Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team for a 12-week contract assignment beginning in August. This position provides an opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-centered outpatient orthopedic and general PT setting while covering a maternity leave. About Us Step by Step Physical Therapy is a locally owned, small town private practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to our communities. We pride ourselves on creating a positive environment for both patients and staff, emphasizing individualized treatment and outstanding outcomes. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Document patient progress accurately and efficiently Supervise and work alongside PTA and ollaborate with support staff to provide excellent patient care Educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs Qualifications Physical Therapy Degree (Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred) Current NY State Physical Therapy license Strong communication and interpersonal skills New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome to apply What We Offer Flexible scheduling options - currently 4-10 hr days M-Th Competitive hourly compensation Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rural community Potential for future PRN or permanent opportunities
