Part-Time Physical Therapist 325 Merrick Avenue, East Meadow, NY 11554 $37.21 - $44.82 an hour - Part-time $37.21 - $44.82 an hour - Part-time Ortho Rehab & Wellness is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our growing, patient-focused practice in East Meadow. We specialize in orthopedic rehabilitation, wellness, and performance-based care in a modern, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive initial evaluations including movement assessments, postural analysis, and functional testing Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Deliver hands-on manual therapy techniques (soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, myofascial release) Design and progress corrective exercise and strength programs tailored to each patient Utilize modalities and advanced technologies to enhance outcomes (as applicable) Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on objective outcomes Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation in compliance with NY state and insurance standards Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and long-term wellness protocols Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure a seamless, high-level patient experience Support cash-based and performance/wellness services , not just insurance-driven care Assist in developing specialty programs (e.g., longevity, postural correction, return-to-sport, pelvic health if applicable) Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment Stay current with continuing education and evolving best practices in orthopedic rehab and wellness Contribute to practice growth initiatives , including patient retention and referrals
