Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Seize an exciting contract opportunity providing vital physical therapy support to students in both elementary and middle school settings. This leave coverage role offers flexibility, for three days a week from 8:30am-3:00pm, spanning from October 16, 2026, through February 5, 2027. Work closely with passionate educators and specialists to ensure every student receives the services they need to succeed.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) certification required Prior experience within schools or pediatric settings is strongly preferred Familiarity working with IEP-mandated services Excellent communication and organizational abilities Strong collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to students with mandated IEP supports Conduct initial evaluations and reevaluations to assess student needs and progress Attend CSE meetings, sharing professional insights and recommendations Maintain thorough documentation for compliance and tracking student outcomes Liaise with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student achievement and participation This role offers a flexible, condensed weekly schedule so you can balance work with your personal commitments.
